Kellie & Ed

Kellie and her love Ed were married on an overcast, rainy day in front of 100 of their closest friends and family at the amazing Fins Plantation House, on the Tweed Coast. Kellie looked effortlessly beautiful in her Made With Love Georgie gown that fit her like a glove, complimented by her bridesmaids that wore stunning emerald silk slips by Silk Laundry. The WOW moment, was when she pulled out her Lack of Colour hat, that finished her look in such a stylish and perfect way.

The overcast and rainy weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, in fact, it added to what made this day so magical. They made the decision to move the ceremony indoors, saying their vows under an arbour that was handmade by the groom (he is an arborist by trade), made from pieces of driftwood that he collected prior to the wedding. We had fun taking photographs afterwards under the verandah at Fins, and then as the rain eased, heading down to the amazing cactus garden for some portraits. Just as we were making our way back up to the house, the clouds parted - an amazing sunset peaked through the clouds - and no joke - a rainbow came out, painted against the pink sky! We had fun jumping the fence into the field in front of Plantation House for some intimate afternoon portraits in golden light. It was so magical, and I’m so excited to share this special wedding with you..

Thank you Kellie & Eddie for having me play such a big part in your day. I loved capturing these beautiful moments.
